How i can do the factory reset on my Nokia Series 40

Select Menu > Settings > Rest. factory sett. (or Reset device or Restore factory sett. or Rest. fact. sett.).

• To reset only preference , but keep all personal data, such as contacts, messages and media file, select Restore settings only (or Restore sett. only or Settings only).

• To reset all preference settings and delete all settings personal data, select Restore all (or All).
• Enter the security code before the restore. If you have never changed your security code, then enter the default code 12345. If your phone still requests a security code or if you have forgotten it, please bring it to the nearest Nokia Care point for inspection.

How I can resize the tiles size on the home screen of Nokia lumia phones to a different size?

Now  you can easily re size the tile size of home screen on windows phone 7.8 and 8 .Just click on the tile and hold it for a second or two and then click on the arrow icon. Depending on the app, the tile can be of two or three different sizes. When you are ready, click the screen. You also readjust tiles. Click and hold a tile, drag and drop it to the new location, and click the screen

MY APPS OR GAMES DOING PROBLEM ON MY WINDOWS PHONE

If Games or Apps creating problem on your Windows Phone. Then takes mentioned below steps.

1.    Firstly verify your App or Game requirements. You can check the details screen to tap on the Marketplace or Store. This details screen will show you all the requirements like supported languages, web browser, location services, media library etc.

2.    After that restart your phone by press and hold the power button until you see Slide Down To Power Off ,then tap it down, then press again the power button to turn on the phone.

3.    After its check the Updates to tap on the Start & then on Marketplace.

4.    If the problem is still here then reinstall your game or app. For uninstall your app or the Game tap on Start, click on app list .then hold the app, and then tap on Uninstall.

5.    To uninstall the Games. Click on the collection of Games, tap and hold and then tap remove.

6.    To get the new copy of app or the game just tap on Start and then Marketplace. When you click Buy, a message in the purchase Confirmation Screen will let you know that you have already Purchased this App or Game and that you have the option the Install again.

TRANSFER MY DATA APPS (WINDOWS PHONE 8)

NOKIA introduce new app for WINDOWS PHONE 8. users to transfer data from the other brand of mobile like the IPHONE, HTC, ANDROID to the NOKIA WINDOWS PHONE 8.This application will support only transfer the contact from the other phone to the WINDOWS PHONE 8.for the data transfer just launch and select source phone .when the user launches the app from the app menu, they will first see what to do next. Tap the continue button. They will see the Bluetooth settings screen. When phones nearby, they are add to the list. It may take several minutes. Then user can tap on it to start pairing. 

After all that take an action on the source phone .if the pairing is successful, a blue status indication is shown under the pone name. After the pairing just tap on the start button to copy the contacts and the text messages. 

 

At this point if user pair their windows phone 8 with Android, Blackberry or iPhone, they cannot see the text messages option.
