ERROR“DOWNLOAD FAILED”WHEN DOWNLOADING APPS OR GAMES FROM WINDOWS PHONE MARKETPLACE

When you try to download a Marketplace app or game onto your Windows Phone, you receive an error message in the downloads queue, below the item's name:

Download Failed

If you getting the problem to download any app or the game from the Marketplace then try these steps:

1.      To finish downloading and installing the app or game, try these steps:

2.      Firstly check your wi-fi connection is connected to the wi-fi or not.

3.      After validate the connection, go the Start, and click on the Marketplace icon.

4.      After pressing on the Marketplace icon you will get the next screen then you find the Download option at bottom of the screen, click on the Download to see a queue of your incomplete downloads.

5.      In Download list, click and hold the app or the game then tap retry.

6.      Marketplace will try to download the item again .After it’s installed, you can find the item either under Apps and Games.

If the download continues to fail, then you delete the download and begin again to do this

·         Find the app or game in your download.

·         Click and hold the app or game icon and click on Delete.

·         After download is removed from the list, go back into Marketplace, find the application and click on the buy or Install.

ZUNE DOSEN’T DETECT MY WINDOWS PHONE 7

If the ZUNE is not detecting the WINDOWS PHONE 7 then take these steps to connect your WINDOWS PHONE 7 to your computer.

Firstly ensure your computer is configured correctly to connect with WINDOWS PHONE 7 and check your usb data cable and try to plug in another port. If the problem is still there. Then verify your usb connection to verify you usb connection take mentioned below steps.

1.    Right-click on my computer and then click Properties.

2.    Then click on the device manager tab.

3.    A window will appear with the list files on the left side click on the name of your computer your Windows Phone 7 should be listed under Portable Devices. If Device Manager is not detecting your phone then physically inspect your phone and computer usb port and always use that cable which have provided to you with the phone. Because some phone supplied with optional charging cables that cannot be used to establish a data connection with your computer.try to use another cable.

4.    Check the dust in the usb port on the phone. If you found the dust in the usb port then use compressed air to remove it.

After all that the next step is Reinstall The Zune Software. If the problem is still there. then update your drivers from the Device Manager.

TRANSFER MY DATA APPS (WINDOWS PHONE 8)

NOKIA introduce new app for WINDOWS PHONE 8. users to transfer data from the other brand of mobile like the IPHONE, HTC, ANDROID to the NOKIA WINDOWS PHONE 8.This application will support only transfer the contact from the other phone to the WINDOWS PHONE 8.for the data transfer just launch and select source phone .when the user launches the app from the app menu, they will first see what to do next. Tap the continue button. They will see the Bluetooth settings screen. When phones nearby, they are add to the list. It may take several minutes. Then user can tap on it to start pairing. 

After all that take an action on the source phone .if the pairing is successful, a blue status indication is shown under the pone name. After the pairing just tap on the start button to copy the contacts and the text messages. 

 

At this point if user pair their windows phone 8 with Android, Blackberry or iPhone, they cannot see the text messages option.
